Job description

Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home & School Settings)
Location: Worcester Area
Hours: School Hours (Flexible)
Pay: Competitive (dependent on experience)

About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and reliable 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in both home and school settings across the Worcester area. This role involves delivering personalised, engaging lessons to students who require additional support outside of a mainstream classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, tailored 1:1 tuition sessions
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs
  • Support pupils with SEND, SEMH, or those out of mainstream education
  • Track and report on student progress
  • Liaise with parents, schools, and other professionals

Requirements

  • Experience in tutoring or teaching
  • Good understanding of the UK curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule

Desirable

  • Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
  • Experience working with SEN/SEND or vulnerable learners
  • Background in alternative provision or outreach tutoring
