Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home & School Settings)
Location: Worcester Area
Hours: School Hours (Flexible)
Pay: Competitive (dependent on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and reliable 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in both home and school settings across the Worcester area. This role involves delivering personalised, engaging lessons to students who require additional support outside of a mainstream classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, tailored 1:1 tuition sessions
- Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs
- Support pupils with SEND, SEMH, or those out of mainstream education
- Track and report on student progress
- Liaise with parents, schools, and other professionals
Requirements
- Experience in tutoring or teaching
- Good understanding of the UK curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
Desirable
- Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience working with SEN/SEND or vulnerable learners
- Background in alternative provision or outreach tutoring

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
