Job description

Tutor – Wilmslow (SK9)

TP Tutors is looking for reliable and enthusiastic tutors to support pupils in the Wilmslow (SK9) area through personalised, one-to-one tuition.

You’ll be working with learners who need additional support in core subjects such as Maths, English and Science, either to close learning gaps, build confidence, or re-engage with education outside of the classroom. Sessions are delivered face to face, typically in the pupil’s home or a local community setting.

This role suits qualified teachers, experienced tutors, teaching assistants, or individuals with a strong background in education who enjoy working closely with pupils and tailoring lessons to individual needs.

The role includes:

  • Delivering structured, engaging one-to-one sessions

  • Adapting teaching approaches to suit different abilities and learning styles

  • Supporting pupils academically and with confidence-building

  • Providing brief feedback on progress where required

  • Competitive hourly pay (£25–£30 depending on experience)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
