Are you passionate about education and driven to help children thrive? TP Tutors is on the lookout for a committed and enthusiastic tutor to support learners across the Sunderland area, helping them reach their full academic potential.
We work with students who are currently not attending mainstream school, offering personalised education in supportive environments such as libraries, the child’s home, learning centres, and other community spaces.
Your Role Will Include:

Delivering tailored 1:1 sessions based on the national curriculum.

Creating a supportive and motivating learning experience to reignite students’ interest in education.

Monitoring progress and outcomes using our easy-to-use LEAP tracking system.
What We’re Looking For:
-
An Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (child workforce), or willingness to apply for one.
-
At least 6 months of relevant experience working with children in an educational setting.

Ability to plan, teach, and assess engaging lessons that are adapted to individual needs.

Solid understanding of the Maths curriculum and a passion for the subject.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
