Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting GCSE Intervention Tutors in the Loughton area to deliver impactful, personalised support in English and Maths.

We’re looking for Qualified Teachers, HLTAs, and SEN/SEMH specialists to join our mission of improving student outcomes through targeted, one-to-one and small group tutoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned GCSE English and/or Maths sessions
• Work with learners in homes, libraries, or care settings
• Identify gaps and track progress using Ed Place assessments
• Log attendance and progress via our LEAP reporting platform
• Communicate any safeguarding concerns promptly

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience delivering the UK curriculum
• Confident in planning tailored lessons and creating teaching materials
• Experience supporting students with SEN and/or SEMH needs
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills
• A proactive, compassionate, and adaptable teaching approach
