Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home & School Settings)
Location: Leicester and surrounding areas
Hours: School hours (Monday–Friday)
About the Role:
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic 1:1 Tutor to support pupils across Leicester in both home and school environments. You will work closely with students who require additional support to help them stay engaged with their learning and achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalised one-to-one tuition sessions
- Support pupils with varying abilities, including those with additional needs
- Plan and adapt lessons based on individual learning styles and needs
- Monitor progress and provide regular feedback
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, or support roles)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learners
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification
- Experience supporting students with SEN
- Ability to teach core subjects such as English, Maths, or Science

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
