1:1 Tutor – Crick (Home & School-Based Tuition)

Location: Crick and surrounding areas
Hours: School hours (Monday to Friday)
Contract: Flexible, Part-time
Pay: £Competitive Pay(depending on the role and Local Authority)

Make a Difference with TP Tutors

TP Tutors is looking for experienced and passionate 1:1 Tutors to provide personalised tuition to pupils in their homes or school settings, depending on each learner's individual needs, across Crick and the surrounding areas.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people who require additional educational support, helping them build confidence, overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

The Role

As a 1:1 Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, personalised tuition tailored to each learner's needs and abilities.
  • Teach Primary and/or Secondary pupils in English, Maths, Science or other curriculum subjects, depending on your experience.
  • Work with pupils who may be out of education, have SEND, SEMH needs, medical needs, or require additional academic support.
  • Plan engaging lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum.
  • Monitor progress and complete session reports following each lesson.
  • Liaise professionally with schools, Local Authorities and families to support positive outcomes.

Essential Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years' teaching experience delivering the UK National Curriculum.
  • Experience teaching Primary, Secondary or both.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, adaptable and supportive approach to teaching.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable due to travel between tuition locations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
