Job Title: Tutor – Corby Area

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire (home-based or local school placements)
Hours: Part-time / Flexible /Full-time

About the Role:

TP Tutors is looking for a dedicated and patient 1:1 Tutor to provide personalised educational support to students in the Corby area. In this role, you will work closely with learners to help them achieve their academic goals, build confidence, and foster a positive learning experience. Tutoring sessions may take place at students’ homes, schools, or community settings, depending on what works best for the learner.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality 1:1 tuition in core subjects: English, Maths, or Science
Adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs and abilities
Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to parents or coordinators
Maintain positive and professional relationships with students and families
Ensure a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring/teaching experience
Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons independently
Flexibility to travel within the Corby area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
