1:1 Tutor – Cambridge Area
We are currently seeking dedicated and passionate 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in the Cambridge area. Tuition will take place either in the pupil’s home or within a school setting during school hours.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are committed to helping young people achieve their academic potential and build confidence in their learning.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition sessions to pupils with varying educational needs and abilities.
- Plan and adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles.
- Support pupils in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science.
- Build positive and professional relationships with pupils, parents, and schools.
- Monitor and report on pupil progress where required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience within the UK.
- Previous experience working in education or providing 1:1 support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred due to travel requirements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
