With our tuition, you do not have to worry about the entire classroom, but rather have the freedom and flexibility to adapt sessions towards the individual needs of the learner.

Making the transition to 1:1 tutor will also allow you to have more time to yourself and family – the amount of paperwork is minimised; you can control your own hours & schedule and accept as much or as little work as desired.

Here at TP, we are recruiting for Maths and English 1:1 tutors in Brightlingsea and surrounding areas to support young people up to GCSE level. We have referrals with immediate start dates, or work to start around your availability. 

This tutor role involves:

• Working with primary or secondary children who may have SEN/ SEMH needs or looked after (LAC).
• Providing educational sessions face to face with children at their homes or a public space e.g. library, community centre, etc.
• Planning resources around the child’s needs, developing their knowledge in core subjects such as Maths, English and Science.

You will need to:

• Have QTS or be a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or SEN/ SEMH experience!    
• Be highly engaging and able to build effective working relationships with children
• Manage and implement a range of behaviour strategies
