Teaching Assistant Position: Supporting Pupils with Learning Disabilities in Norwich
Are you experienced in supporting students with significant learning and intellectual disabilities? Do you have a passion for helping children achieve their full potential? If so, we want to hear from you!
We are a specialist school located in Norwich, dedicated to meeting the individual needs of our pupils. Our school maintains high yet tailored expectations for each student, recognizing that their diverse needs require different forms of provision, leading to unique outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with pupils with significant learning and intellectual disabilities.
- Implement personalized support strategies to help students build confidence and independence.
- Focus on teaching essential life skills and functional literacy and numeracy.
- Foster a nurturing environment that encourages self-regulation and communication.
- Create engaging learning experiences that promote peer support and community spirit.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
