Supply Teaching Assistants – Launceston Area

We are currently recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to support a number of primary schools in the Launceston area. With high demand for TAs in this region, there are both day-to-day and long-term roles available — with the opportunity to go temp-to-perm for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils with their learning in class

• Working 1:1 or in small groups to deliver targeted interventions

• Assisting the class teacher with behaviour management and lesson preparation

• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Supporting children with additional needs, including SEN

• Maintaining strong communication with school staff and pupils

We’re looking for people who:

• Have experience working with children (school, nursery, youth work, or similar)

• Are enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable

• Are confident working independently or as part of a team

• Hold relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential)
