Teaching Assistant / Behaviour Support – Stoke-on-Trent (Day-to-Day Cover)
Location: Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas
Pay: £90– £115 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Day-to-day, flexible supply
Flexible Support Roles in Mainstream & SEN / SEMH Schools
Teaching Personnel are recruiting Teaching Assistants and Behaviour Support staff to work on a day-to-day supply basis across mainstream primary and secondary schools, as well as SEN and SEMH settings in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work that fits around other commitments, whether that’s study, family, part-time work, or gaining experience in education.
Experience is helpful but not essential — we’re particularly keen to hear from people with transferable skills from roles such as care, youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, support work, or customer-facing roles.
Your Role

Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups

Assist with learning, engagement and behaviour management
-
Help maintain a calm, safe and structured classroom environment

Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN / SEMH

Work alongside teachers and school staff to support daily routines

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
