Teaching Assistant – Resource Base (SEND) | Tidworth
£80–£90 per day | Full-Time | Easter start
We are currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming and supportive school in Tidworth, supporting pupils within their Resource Base.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a real difference in their day-to-day learning and development.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant within the Resource Base, you will:

Work closely with pupils who require additional support
-
Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support
-
Assist with learning activities, emotional regulation, and engagement
-
Support the class teacher and SEN team with daily routines and learning plans
-
Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
-
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (essential)
-
A strong understanding of children’s individual needs, particularly within SEND settings
-
A calm, patient, and supportive approach
-
Confidence working with children who may require additional behavioural or emotional support
Training & Development:
While experience is essential, CPD training is available upon registration, helping you continue to build your skills and progress within education.
Pay:
£80–£90 per day, depending on experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
