Salary: £13.75 per hour
Contract: Part Time / Flexible, Term-Time Only

A specialist school in Weymouth is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team.
About the Role
You’ll work closely with teachers and support staff to provide exceptional care and learning support for pupils aged 2–19. The school caters for students across early years, primary, secondary, and sixth form with a range of needs, including:
- Severe, complex, and profound learning difficulties
- Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC)
- Physical and sensory disabilities
- Complex healthcare needs
This purpose-built campus offers a bespoke curriculum tailored to individual needs, incorporating therapeutic approaches, outdoor learning, sensory rooms, and programs to develop independence and physical skills. All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working with SEN(D)
- Understanding of EHCPs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to implement positive behaviour support strategies
Working Hours & Benefits
- Part Time / Flexible, between Monday to Friday (08:50–15:35)
- Term Time Only
- 12.07% holiday pay
