Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Northwich)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Until April
Location: Northwich
Hours: Full-time, term-time
Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and making a real difference in the classroom? A welcoming primary school in Northwich is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible, working through to April.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities
- Provide 1:1 or small-group support to pupils
- Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with behaviour management and pastoral support
- Contribute to the delivery of creative and inspiring lessons
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children (school, nursery, youth work or similar)
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow the teacher’s lead and use initiative where needed
- Ideally a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant), but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
