Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Northwich)

Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and making a real difference in the classroom? A welcoming primary school in Northwich is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible, working through to April.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities
Provide 1:1 or small-group support to pupils
Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Assist with behaviour management and pastoral support
Contribute to the delivery of creative and inspiring lessons
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

What We’re Looking For

Experience working with children (school, nursery, youth work or similar)
A caring, patient, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow the teacher’s lead and use initiative where needed
Ideally a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant), but not essential
