Teaching Personnel are proud to be working with a thriving and inclusive Primary School based near Newbridge in Caerphilly CCBC.
This school is a happy, inclusive learning community where pupils feel safe and secure. The headteacher, governors and staff are very proud of the school and share a vision that focuses on the well-being and progress of all pupils, including those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). They school have a large proportion of children with ALN in every class, and also have Special Resource Bases within the school as well including rooms that cater for non verbal sensory children, autistic children, and children that have Social or Emotional Mental Health disorders.

The school are looking for Teaching Assistants who have a genuine passion for working with children with ALN. You could be covering or working with a pupil anywhere within the school, and so you must be calm, patient, and understanding to really get the most from these pupils. TA’s who do well are those that get to know the student well, work with them on what engages them, and are creative in bringing their interests to life through their schoolwork.
A positive attitude, an open-minded approach, and the ability to create a fun and engaging environment are key qualities this school look for. As a large and collaborative setting, they particularly value team players with strong communication skills, ensuring effective coordination across classes and departments to deliver the very best learning experience for every child.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
