Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school. This full-time role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a classroom environment.
Working alongside the class teacher, you will help create an engaging and inclusive learning atmosphere, supporting pupils across a range of abilities and helping them reach their full potential.
The Role:
- Support pupils within the classroom across the primary age range
- Assist with delivering engaging learning activities
- Provide small group and 1:1 support for SEN/SEMH pupils
- Encourage positive behaviour and classroom engagement
- Help prepare learning resources and classroom materials
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
- Experience working with children is advantageous
- Positive, proactive, and reliable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for supporting young people in education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
