Teaching Assistant/LSA – South Gloucester/North Bristol
Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated part‑time Teaching Assistants to support Early Years, KS1, and KS2 classes across primary schools within the North Bristol and South Gloucestershire postcodes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support learning across Early Years, KS1, and KS2
• Assist with classroom routines and promote positive behaviour
• Provide targeted support to pupils of varying abilities
• Help deliver learning activities set by the class teacher
• Offer emotional and wellbeing support to pupils
• Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and school policies at all times
The Successful Candidate:
• Experience working with children (school-based or transferable)
• Strong understanding of primary-aged pupils’ learning needs
• Confidence supporting across different year groups
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (guidance available if needed)
• Enthusiastic, patient, and able to build positive relationships
• Adaptable and able to work effectively in a range of classrooms

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
