About the Role
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on pupils' learning and development while working alongside experienced teachers and support staff.
The successful candidate will support teaching and learning across the school, helping pupils to achieve their full potential in a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering high-quality learning activities.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Encourage pupils' confidence, independence, and engagement.
- Support pupils with a range of learning, social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
- Assist with preparing learning resources and classroom displays.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
- Promote safeguarding, welfare, and wellbeing in line with school policies.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Has experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting every child's success.
- Can work effectively as part of a team and use their own initiative.
- Demonstrates a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) would be an advantage but is not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
