Teaching Assistant jobs

Teaching Personnel are working with a SEN school in Wareham who are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work within its SEN department from September 2019. This would be working 1:1 or small group work with children with Autism on a full time basis.

This school is a setting up a new site for 2019 based in the Wareham area. The school caters for mild SEN students, with the main bulk of their students having autism and dyslexia. The students range from Primary to Secondary age groups

The successful candidate daily duties will include;

• Providing support for children within lessons
• Use your initiative to differentiate activities to support the student's individual needs
• Work closely with the class teacher
• Excellent motivation skills

To be a successful candidate for this role you will need to;

• Have previous experience working within a school setting
• Be able to communicate effectively with different members of staff and parents
• Have knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Have a friendly caring personality
