Teaching Assistant
Ages 7-11
SEN/SLD
Location: Greenwich
Working Pattern: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
An oversubscribed school in Greenwich are seeking an SEN Teacher to support the student’s education. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience working with SEN students in a group and individual setting.
The ability to calm classroom disruptions whilst remaining a friendly and welcoming figure of authority is key.
Students who study with us have a wide range of needs including profound and multiple learning disabilities, communication and behavioural difficulties and specific medical needs. All students are individual and their learning programme is designed to support and empower them to achieve their aspirations and goals, whilst developing skills to become more independent members of their community.

1. Providing each student with the support needed to carry out learning
2. Carrying out therapy, health and well-being programmes to support learning
3. Ensure that agreed individual programmes of learning for students are implemented correctly
4. Work in harmony with all staff to ensure a positive atmosphere is maintained for the benefit of our young students
5. Ensure that student's well-being is maintained at all times

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
