Are you looking for a role supporting in Early Years?

On behalf of a South Sheffield School, Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a L3 Teaching Assistant to work on a full time basis. 

Our ideal Teaching Assistant 

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who would be able to commit to a school on a full time basis. You must have experience working in an Early Years setting, ideally conducting observations and logging evidence for the class teacher. You may be responsible for supporting with the Continuous Provision, or supporting with Speech and Language/Phonics interventions. You may be expected to work on a 121 basis, or with small groups of children to deliver interventions or lead activities. 

The School 

Based in South Sheffield, the school is a large setting which is currently undergoing some positive changes. The setting has been refreshed with new resources, creating a bright and engaging setting. There has been a change in leadership, and the school are looking for someone who can join them on their journey to 'Good'. 

Our ideal EYFS Teaching Assistant

  • L3 Qualified or equivalent 
  • Available on a full time basis 
  • Experienced working in an Early Years setting 
  • Comfortable conducting observations against Early Years Goals 
  • Familiar with continuous provision 
  • Good understanding of phonics and speech and language
