The Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom. Duties may include:

• Supporting children with their learning on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
• Helping to create an engaging and positive learning environment
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
• Encouraging pupil confidence, independence and achievement

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable
• A positive, patient and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for education and supporting children's development
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
