Teaching Assistant

The Headteacher and Governing Body of a reputable Primary School in Penwortham are keen to secure a Teaching Assistant to work across KS1 within Y1 and Y2. This role will be to provide interventions to children across the two classes and closing gaps in learning as a result of school closure. This is an excellent opportunity for an academic practitioner who has a genuine passion for teaching and delivering interventions and closing gaps in learning. Candidates with KS1 and KS2 experience are welcome to apply. Candidates must hold a Level 2 or higher qualification to be considered and rates of pay are competitive for work of this nature ranging from GBP10-GBP12 per hour dependent upon experience.

The working hours will be 8:45-13:00 Monday-Friday and the role will begin in February 2021 and will commence for the remainder of the academic year. The role will be reviewed in May 2021 with the potential of a permanent position in school from September 2021.
