Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a number of primary schools across Sheffield and the surrounding areas. Due to high demand, we are looking for a number of Learning Support Assistants/Higher Level Teaching Assistants to join our workforce.
As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will support students under the direction of the class teacher. This could mean working 121 or with small groups of students to support them in their learning and overcome any barriers they may face, this could be based within the classroom or in small groups. The Higher Learning Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role differs in that you would be responsible for the whole class, standing in for the usual class teacher. You would not be expected to teach, just to ensure that students are on task with the pre-set work until the teacher returns. We have a number of roles currently available for both LSA and HLTA, so please get in touch for more information. You do not need prior experience, as we can arrange shadow days to become familiar with the role and we offer a range of training courses to support your route into the education sector.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
