A well-established specialist school in Yeovil is expanding and seeking a Senior Teaching Assistant to support pupils with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties, including communication and interaction needs.

Your Role

• Lead and support classroom learning activities
• Provide 1:1 and small group support
• Help monitor and record pupil progress
• Support and guide less experienced staff where required
• Assist with personal care and mobility needs where necessary

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 6 months’ childcare experience, ideally within SEN
• Confident supporting complex needs and behaviours
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Patient, proactive and resilient attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
