Senior SEN Teaching Assistant (Yeovil)
Senior SEN Teaching Assistant – Progress Your Career
Full-time | Immediate Start | 4–18 | 8.40am to 4.30pm
A well-established specialist school in Yeovil is expanding and seeking a Senior Teaching Assistant to support pupils with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties, including communication and interaction needs.

Your Role
- Lead and support classroom learning activities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support
- Help monitor and record pupil progress
- Support and guide less experienced staff where required
- Assist with personal care and mobility needs where necessary
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 6 months’ childcare experience, ideally within SEN
- Confident supporting complex needs and behaviours
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Patient, proactive and resilient attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
