Teaching Assistant – Weymouth
Fixed-Term Contract – Start ASAP (Through to Summer 2026)

Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and helping them flourish both academically and emotionally? A warm and welcoming school in Weymouth is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team and play a key role in pupils’ day‑to‑day success.

This is a fixed‑term post running until the end of the Summer Term 2026, with the potential to continue into the next academic year.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide individual and small‑group support to help pupils make strong progress
  • Encourage confidence, independence, and positive wellbeing
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver engaging learning activities
  • Help maintain a nurturing, inclusive and purposeful classroom environment
  • Support children with both their academic work and their social development
