Teaching Assistant – Wembley, Brent
Location: Wembley
Hours: 8:30- 4pm
Personal care requried

Job role: Teaching assistant working within a mainstream Primary school.
The position is for an Teaching Assistant to join the EYFS department of a large Primary school in the heart of Wembley, Brent. It is easily accessible via the tube of London buses. The school has high expectations for all the children and staff. The school provides a curriculum that is of the highest quality, enabling all the children to succeed.
The role involves supporting children across reception and year 3 class. It also includes working closely with a child in reception that is non-verbal and may need support with personal care. It is important that the teaching assistant should use their own initiative and provides support to the class teacher.
The ideal Early Years Teaching Assistant for this role will have:
- At least 6 months experience working with Primary aged children, and some experience in the EYFS.
- Personal care experience
- SEN experience
- Preferably TA level 2 trained or have some form of TA/education qualifications

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
