Taunton – Teaching Assistants
Teaching Personnel are looking for Teaching Assistants in the Taunton and surrounding area for the upcoming September Term. Whether you’re an experienced Level 2 qualified Teaching Assistant looking to take control of your own diary and work around your schedule. Or you’re someone with no experience looking for a career change and wanting to move into the education sector. Teaching Personnel can cater for all educators and the level you are at in your educational career.

What we need from you...
- Must be a UK resident.
- Have relevant documentation and ID (Can help you through the options)
- Have a valid DBS on the Update Service (We can help you obtain this)
- Have valid referencing over the last 2 years.
- Previous experience (Desired but not essential)
- Up to date CV
- Passion for working and helping children.
Main duties include…
- getting the classroom ready for lessons.
- listening to children read, reading to them, or telling them stories.
- helping children who need extra support to complete tasks.
- helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records.
- supporting teachers in managing class behaviour.
Hourly Rate: £12 - £14.50 (Depending on experience and qualifications)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
