Teaching Assistant – Part-Time (With Potential to Become Full-Time)
Romsey Area

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is looking for a role in the Romsey area. This position is initially part-time, with the potential to become full-time for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will work alongside class teachers to support pupils’ learning, engagement and wellbeing across the school day. The role may include supporting individuals or small groups and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

While experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable, it is not essential. We welcome applications from educators who are keen to develop their skills and are committed to supporting all children to achieve their best.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children in a school or educational setting

  • Is patient, proactive and adaptable

  • Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff

  • Has an interest in inclusive practice and pupil development

  • Is seeking part-time work with the opportunity to progress to full-time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
