Teaching Assistant
Location: Solihull, Birmingham
Pay rate: £85-100 (dependent on previous experience)
TEACHING PERSONNEL ARE ACTIVELY RECRUITING A PASSIONATE AND EXPERIENCED TEACHING ASSISTANT TO WORK IN ONE OF OUR PARTNER SCHOOLS WITHIN THE SOLIHULL AREA OF BIRMINGHAM.
Teaching Personnel are the market leaders for education recruitment, delivering exceptional customer service to both our educators and our schools.
Role Qualifications:
- Minimum of English and Maths GCSEs
- Prior experience within a school in a similar role or within childcare
- Knowledge of special educational needs and previous experience with children with SEN/SEMH either personally or professionally
- DBS on update service (or willingnes to obtain one through Teaching Personnel)
- Confident and approachable personality
Role Responsibilities:
- Support students on a 1:1 and small group basis, particularly lower level pupils or pupils with special educational needs
- Collaborate with class teacher and follow their guidance and leadership
- Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Report and escalate concerns promplty and to the designated people
- Uphold schools values, policies and procedures at all times
- Adhere to safeguarding principles at all times

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
