Salary: £15 - £23 per hour
Hours: 25 hours per week

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a tutor in delivering high-quality educational support to vulnerable pupils. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about education, who thrives in a supportive role, and wants to make a real difference in students' learning journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the tutor in preparing and delivering engaging lessons and activities

• Provide two-to-one support for pupils alongside a tutor
  

• Help manage learning resources and maintain an organised learning environment

• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the tutor

• Support students emotionally, offering encouragement and helping them to engage with the session

• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning atmosphere

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or in an educational setting is essential
  

• Experience working with children with SEN or SEMH is preferred

• A genuine interest in education and helping students achieve their potential

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths; further qualifications are a plus
