Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in Salisbury.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SEN specialists to support students with diverse needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. Your role will involve:
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN.
- Assisting with classroom activities and adapting learning materials to meet individual needs.
- Encouraging social and emotional development.
- Supporting students with personal care (if required).
- Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience working with children or adults with SEN.
- A patient, caring, and empathetic approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A willingness to undergo relevant training.
- A Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
