We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a thriving secondary school community in the Radstock area from September 2026.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students in lessons to maximise engagement and achievement.
- Work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored learning support.
- Assist students with SEND, literacy development, and intervention programmes.
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote student confidence and independence.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- Play an active role in supporting students' personal and academic development.

- Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential).
- Are patient, caring and enthusiastic.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
