The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils both within the classroom and through targeted interventions. Working closely with teachers and other support staff, you will help create engaging learning experiences and ensure all children have the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils across the primary age range in class and during interventions.
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
• Support children with varying abilities and additional learning needs.
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school community.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting.
• Is patient, caring and enthusiastic.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can build positive relationships quickly.
• Is proactive and happy to get involved in all aspects of school life.
• Is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
• Holds relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential).
