About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils in their learning within the classroom and during educational activities.
- Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and develop essential skills.
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote pupil engagement.
- Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom activities.
- Support pupils with social, emotional, and communication needs.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals where appropriate.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about supporting children and young people.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can build positive and professional relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
- Is patient, adaptable, and resilient.
- Works effectively as part of a team while also using their own initiative.
- Has a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential. Full training and ongoing professional development opportunities will be provided for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
