A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Merton is seeking a full-time KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children develop both academically and emotionally.

Your Responsibilities: 

• Providing day-to-day classroom support in a Key Stage 1 setting
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery
• Supporting pupils with their learning, both in groups and 1:1
• Helping manage behaviour and encouraging a positive classroom atmosphere
• Promoting the school’s values and creating an inclusive, nurturing space for learning

What We're Looking For:

• Someone who is patient, energetic, and enthusiastic about education
• Previous experience working with children (in school or similar settings – voluntary or paid)
• A team player who can take initiative and communicate effectively
• An interest in early childhood development or education
• Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday, during term time
