Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a recent English graduate to support pupils who are struggling the most academically by joining one of our client schools as a Teaching Assistant.
Throughout this position you must:
- Work closely with pupils who are struggling the most with their academic performance.
- Work in small groups of students or on a one-to-one basis to ensure that the pupils are understanding the lessons properly.
- You will answer any questions that the pupils may have about the lessons.
- You will assist the Teacher to ensure that the classroom has a positive working environment, with behaviour well under control.
This position will be at a Manchester-based school. The position will be full-time and is due to start in September at the start of the academic year.
The salary for this position will be between £385 and £450 per week, dependent on the requirements of the school.
For this position you must be willing to apply for a fully enhanced DBS check, as well as provide at least two employment-based references, covering the last two years of your employment.
If you are aiming to become an English teacher, this position will be ideal for you as you will be able to gain experience in the classroom, supporting the pupils with their English. Through Teaching Personnel, for the right candidates, there will be the opportunity to progress onto permanent teacher roles once you have become fully qualified.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
