Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school in the LE9 area. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers, support pupils across the classroom and make a genuine difference to children's learning and development every day.
Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to build on your school-based experience, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
The Role
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to boost learning and confidence.
- Help create a positive, safe and nurturing classroom environment.
- Support children's academic, social and emotional development.
- Adapt to the needs of individual pupils and contribute to their overall progress.
We're Looking For
- Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
- SEN experience is desirable but not essential.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential due to the school's location.
- A positive, proactive and reliable approach with excellent communication skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
