Teaching Assistants Required – Devizes
Start Date: After Half Term | Potential to Continue into September
We are currently seeking 2–3 compassionate, resilient, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school based in Devizes after half term, with the potential for ongoing opportunities into September.
This rewarding role involves supporting students with a diverse range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including:
- Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
- Attachment Disorders
- ADHD
- Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs
The school provides a highly structured, therapeutic environment designed to help pupils thrive both academically and personally. Their tailored approach focuses on supporting young people who may be at risk of disengaging from mainstream secondary education, combining academic learning with practical life skills, emotional development, and positive relationship building.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be patient, adaptable, and empathetic
- Have experience working with children or young people with SEND or SEMH needs (preferred but not essential)
- Be confident building positive relationships and maintaining clear boundaries
- Work effectively as part of a supportive team
- Be passionate about helping students achieve their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
