Teaching Assistant – Durham (DH1)
Location: Durham, DH3
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time
Start Date: ASAP / Flexible
Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the DH1 area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the classroom.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
- Support pupils with additional needs to ensure they reach their full potential.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
- A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
