Job description
Job Title: Unqualified Teaching Assistant
Location: Clitheroe, Lancashire
Contract: Full time and part time roles available
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants (Unqualified) to provide support to our teaching staff and students. These positions are available immediately and require a commitment to work throughout this academic year.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities
- Helping to prepare lesson materials and resources
- Providing one-to-one or small group support to students who need extra assistance
- Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a safe learning environment
- Supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities
- Undertaking other duties as required by the classroom teacher or school leadership team
Requirements:
- A minimum of a GCSE grade 5 or above in English and Mathematics is required. Some experience of working with children or young people would be beneficial but not essential.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm, flexibility and a willingness to learn
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help and support students
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- A willingness to undergo training and professional development as required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
