A secondary school in Chorlton is looking to take on two Teaching Assistants starting with them, ideally in September. This is a full time Teaching Assistant role where you would take on responsibilities such as:
- Supporting and assisting students in the classroom
- Working with students with additional needs on a 1 to 1 basis and in small groups
- Support with a specific subject if you have a particular interest or background/skillset in that area
- Opportunity to cover lessons once experienced and confident
The school is located in Chorlton, just south of the city centre of Manchester. It is easily accessible via public transport and the Metrolink tram network. The school is set in a residential area with a large on site secure car park for all staff and visitors.
There will be an earning potential of £1900 - £1925 per month with hours of 8:30am – 4pm.
Highlights of this role:
- Full time role, 8:30 – 4pm (Monday -Friday)
- Pay will be based upon experience: ranging between £1900 - £1925 per month
- Start on Monday 1st September (or slightly later if required) for the duration of the Autumn term with the real opportunity to progress onto a school based contract

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
