About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning across a range of abilities, year groups, and backgrounds. From helping in whole-class lessons to delivering focused interventions, you’ll be a key part of a supportive and creative teaching team.

What You’ll Do:

• Work alongside class teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences.

• Support individual pupils, including those with additional needs (SEND), EAL learners, and high achievers.

• Assist in planning and leading small group interventions in literacy, numeracy, and phonics.

• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being through a caring and inclusive approach.

• Use ICT confidently to enhance learning and support assessments.

• Bring creativity to learning through art, music, storytelling, or outdoor play.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with primary-aged children in a classroom or similar setting.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Confidence to adapt and respond to the needs of different learners.

• Patience, resilience, and a genuine love for helping children thrive.

• Additional strengths or interests in areas such as SEN support, pastoral care, bilingual support, sports, or creative arts are highly desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
