Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming 2-form entry primary school in Cardiff.

This rewarding role will involve delivering targeted interventions to pupils who require additional support in Literacy and Numeracy, helping them build confidence and achieve their academic goals. You will work closely with class teachers to support pupil progress and help create a positive learning environment.

The Role

• Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions.
• Support pupils with Literacy and Numeracy development.
• Assist children who require additional learning support.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Support classroom learning when intervention sessions are not taking place.
• Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and independence.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare or similar setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, patient and proactive approach.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
