Location: Camberley, Surrey
Position: Teaching Assistant

We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join schools across Camberley from September 2026. Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to take your first step into education, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils both inside and outside the classroom. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting pupils with their learning and development

  • Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce classroom learning

  • Providing additional support to pupils who may have additional needs

  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment

  • Supporting classroom activities and preparing resources

  • Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence and wellbeing

  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other school staff

We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Patient, caring and approachable

  • Passionate about working with children and young people

  • Confident supporting pupils with different learning needs

  • A strong communicator and team player

  • Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic

  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare

Previous experience in a school or education setting is desirable but not essential, as training and support may be available for the right candidates.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
