We are seeking caring, dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join welcoming schools in Camberley. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs, making a real difference to their educational journey and personal development.
Whether you have previous SEN experience or have worked with children in another capacity, we are looking for individuals who are committed to creating positive learning experiences for every child.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.

Assist children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language Needs, SEMH, and other additional learning needs.

Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
-
Encourage pupils' independence, confidence and social development.
-
Help manage behaviour positively and consistently.

Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists and parents to ensure the best outcomes for each pupil.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience working with children, ideally within an SEN or education setting.

A patient, nurturing and resilient approach.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
-
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
Relevant Teaching Assistant or SEND qualifications are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
