Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to work across primary and secondary schools in Boston and the surrounding area, including within our valued partnership with the Our Lady of Lourdes Multi-Academy Trust (MAT).

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils’ learning and development, with a particular focus on Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will work with students of varying ages and abilities, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting children with a range of SEN needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties)
  • Working one-to-one or in small groups to provide tailored support
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
  • Supporting students’ social, emotional, and communication development

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking individuals who are:

  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient
  • Passionate about supporting children with additional needs
  • Flexible and adaptable to different school environments
  • Confident working with pupils of various ages (primary and/or secondary)
  • Ideally experienced in education, care, or youth work (but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
