Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a specialist SEMH & Behavioural school in Bolton that provides tailored support to students who require an alternative approach to education.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the team and play a key role in helping students overcome barriers and thrive in school.

Role Overview:

-          Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis

-          Assisting with behavioural management and emotional regulation

-          Help create a safe and supportive learning environment

-          Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to meet individual needs

Ideal Candidate:

-          Experience working with children / young people with SEMH or behavioural needs (PRU, alternative provision, youth work, care or similar)

-          Strong interpersonal skills and emotional resilience

-          Has a calm and adaptable approach to support

-          DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel)

Successful applicants will be subject to standard vetting checks, including two school / education-based references & a DBS.

Applicants must be able to provide an Overseas Police Check if applicant has been outside the UK for more than 6 months in the past 5 years.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
