Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to supporting student success, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and lesson preparation.
- Provide individualised support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement engaging learning activities.
- Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and performance.
- Support students during independent work and group activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting preferred.
- Experience of working with children or adults with mental health difficulties - essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
- Understanding of diverse learning needs and ability levels.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
